Dear Wine Club Member,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to take this opportunity to tell you about some important changes that we are making to the wine club based on customer feedback. The cost of shipping is the number one concern of wine club members and as you know the cost of shipping is beyond our control. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to negotiate lower rates with the shipping companies. After thorough study, we have determined that by reducing the number of shipments from four times per year to two times per year and increasing the number of bottles in each shipment from two to six maximizes value for money. Therefore, annually you will receive two shipments of six bottles each. This change is effective immediately. The next wine club package is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008 followed by a second package in the third quarter of 2008. This change of two wine club packages per year of six bottles each also applies to those that choose to pick up their package.

If we do not hear from you by December 31, 2007 we will assume your acceptance of this new policy.

We look forward to your feedback on the 2006 red wines which will be released shortly. This is the first year that we hand-sorted the grapes, discarding all imperfect grapes. The remaining grapes have produced elegant wines. We believe that this new process will have a very positive impact on the wines in the years ahead.
