Spring Wine Club Release
Saturday, March 6 & Sunday, March 7

We are excited to announce the pickup date of our Spring Wine Club Package!

On Saturday, March 6, and Sunday March 7, Wine Club Pick Up will be held at the Winery. Jay Raffaldini will be on site both days to lead a lively discussion of the wine club wines. On Saturday March 6, he will be joined by our talented winemaker Chris Nelson. On both days, tastings of each wine club wine will be available, and we will also have food and barrel tastings of future releases. There will also be drawings of fun prizes throughout each day so be sure to enter to win when you arrive. There is no cost to participate in the drawings, but you must be present to win.

The Fall Wine club package contains six bottles of three new wine releases including the return of Sangiovese Classico. Your wine club package will contain the following wines:

2 Bottle 2019 Bella Misto (Our everyday red blend with a nice tannic backbone courtesy of Sagrantino)
2 Bottle 2020 Vermentino Superiore (Our signature white varietal, stone fruit and lively acidity)
2 Bottles 2019 Sangiovese Classico (Chianti in Carolinas is back, deeply structured and earthy red)
Pricing for the six bottles is $142 before tax and applicable discounts.

*Superiore Members, if you know the additional bottles you'd like to select, please email us with your order and our staff will fulfill it for you with your card on file.

The package also contains a letter from Jay and recipes to pair with each wine from Barbara. If you cannot join us for the wine club release, you will have the opportunity to hear from Jay Raffaldini on these new wines via Zoom (more info below) in the weeks following the release.

Salon Tasting with Jay Raffaldini - Sangiovese Classico

Saturday, March 20 1pm-3pm

Enjoy this opportunity to join Owner Jay Raffaldini and Winemaker Chris Nelson in an exclusive Salon Wine Tasting. Held in the barrel room of the winery, guests will enjoy a blind tasting of our Sangiovese going up blind against some of the most highly rated vineyards throughout the world. Join Maureen Stitt a certified Kripalu yoga instructor for a 60-minute yoga class designed for all students who have a desire to enhance their well-being through movement, breath awareness and self-inquiry. Set-up your mat and get ready to change the world, one breath at a time!

Our Sangiovese Classico makes a triumphant return later this year. During the stellar 2019 vintage, hot and dry conditions produced a dark and concentrated Vino Nobile-based Sangiovese. Treated with our trademark Appassimento drying technique and topped off with the inky petit verdot grape, this Super-Tuscan style wine bombards you with dark cherry fruit and lingers long on the palate with lavender, floral and spice notes. Winter is the Perfect Time to Visit

New Vintage of Meditazione Now Available!

Meditazione is our version of a traditional Italian Digestivo, a wine enjoyed at the end of a meal that invites discussion, contemplation and reflection among friends and self. Our Meditazione is made entirely from 100% Appassimento dried fruit which includes Sagrantino, Sangiovese, and Petit Verdot. This port style wine has a deep, ruby and tawny color. The flavors of raisin and fig dominate with hints of baking spices that enhance it's long supple finish.

Exciting Additions in 2021

During these winter months, we are taking this time to complete some important upgrades to Raffaldini Vineyards and improve your experience! We are adding more covered seating space under our new tent and have expanded the parking lot with more than 50 additional spaces. We look forward to sharing these and many more updates with you.

While Winter time is often considered the "dormant" season, our diligent vineyard crew is hard at work pruning and shaping our vines for the new vintage.

Sunday, February 14 | 1pm-3pm

Join Barbara Raffaldini as she shares insights into Italian culture, language, and traditions surrounding Love. Whether planning a trip to Italy or just curious about Italy and its people and customs, this entertaining and interactive experience will give you a new appreciation and understanding for all things Italian.
