Raffaldini Wins Big at Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition
We are thrilled to announce our most recent round of awards at the 2021 Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition held in California!
Desaria, which topped the Vermentino varietal category is our newest release in the Fall Wine Club package along with the 94-point, platinum medal winning 2019 Sagrantino, and 93-point, gold medal winner, Montepulciano Riserva. All of these wines are currently available while supplies last. Don't miss an opportunity to taste and collect these exceptional wines.
Founded by the late, great wine expert, Robert Whitley, this competition is known in the wine world as one of the toughest and best respected competitions due to its strict grading standards and highly qualified judging panel.
This year's chief judge, "Super Somm" Jesse Rodriguez, is formally educated in wine including credentials from four different sommelier organizations. He also worked at Napa's famous French Laundry restaurant and was a part of the team that won its first three-Michelin star award.

Take a Hike! With Jay Raffaldini

 Join owner Jay Raffaldini and long time NC resident and outdoors-man Steve Nelson, as they show you the way through the Raffaldini woods and vineyards. Wear sensible walking shoes and prepare yourself for a moderate 90 minute hike followed by a hearty luncheon which of course includes wine! During the hike, Jay will share details of the vineyard and Steve will share his love of the woods. Ticket includes a guided hike, lunch and two glasses of wine.

We're excited to unveil the first taste of our 2020 red wines ! After careful aging, these reds are ready for blending and we need you to help us determine the blend for the Raffaldini Grande Riserva!
Assemblaggio is a two-hour educational wine experience led by Owner Jay Raffaldini in our winery barrel room. Each blend you create will be carefully analyzed, sampled and help inspire our new vintage of Grande Riserva.
This is an opportunity to hone your winemaking knowledge and ability, learn more about grape varietals, and make a few new friends in the process. Blending trials will be held in the barrel room allowing you to experience the winery during the winemaking session.

Join Maureen Stitt, a certified Kripalu yoga instructor, for a 60-minute yoga class designed for all students who have a desire to enhance their well-being through movement, breath awareness and self-inquiry. Set-up your mat and get ready to change the world, one breath at a time!
Cost: $10.00 per class

We have partnered with Tock to provide a reservation system for tastings and flights at the Villa and on the Piazza. Our continued goal is to provide the best experience for you, our valued customers and friends. While walk-ins are welcome and a reservation is not required, we believe that making a reservation will enhance your visit.
Our team members are wearing masks while indoors to help prevent the spread of covid 19. While masks are not required for those vaccinated we recommend that everyone wear a mask while indoors and not actively eating or drinking.
