Raffaldini Wines Score 90+ In American Wine Society Competition
We have a few more ornaments to add to our Christmas tree this year! Seven Raffaldini wines scored 90+ at the annual American Wine Society (AWS) 2022 Commercial Competition, conducted in Bellevue, WA on October 25th and 26th. The American Wine Society competition for commercial wine has been held annually since the 1986 National Conference. Judges are selected from a broad spectrum of wine industry professionals, including marketers, writers and wine makers. A significant number of judges for each competition are also chosen from among graduates of the AWS’s own rigorous and well regarded Wine Judge Certification Program. All wines are judged blind and by panel consensus.

Afternoon of Holiday Cheer
Friday, November 25 | 11am - 5pm
The Holidays are in full swing, and we invite you to help us prepare for the holidays! The entire family will enjoy holiday shopping and live tunes while you craft your own holiday decorations, and enjoy complimentary cookies and apple cider while the little ones write letters to Santa.
Local musician RG Absher will entertain you with holiday tunes on a wide variety of instruments including Hammered Dulcimer, Violin, acoustic guitar, classic guitar, and banjo! RG is a Wilkes County native and a regular at MerleFest. His music includes a rich folk tradition and haunting Celtic sounds from Ireland and Scotland.
Please bring a non-perishable food item as we "fill the barrel with food" for the Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC. Here is a list of the most needed items.
Admission is Free to Everyone, but we ask that you please RSVP! Come out an join us for a day full of Holiday Cheer!

 2019 Patrimonio Release

You're invited to join Owner Jay Raffaldini and Winemaker Chris Nelson for a very special event to be held at the winery. Raffaldini Patrimonio (translated from the Italian as Heritage or Legacy) will be released on Saturday, December 10th and as the name implies is the flagship wine that we make. Unlike our heralded Grande Riserva which we make in the style of Super Tuscans, Patrimonio is crafted for those who love Napa-style wines.
Jay Raffaldini invites you to the beautiful botti barrel room at the winery for the release of the inaugural release of our Patrimonio. This wine is an icon of Raffaldini Vineyards; a representation of more than twenty years of pioneering winemaking. An opaque, brooding, and intense red wine made from Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, and Sagrantino grapes, aged in 100% new French Oak evokes a luxurious symphony of flavor, leaning in with dark fruits, spice, and earth.
We invite you to stop by on Saturday, December 10, chat with Jay about how we made the Patrimonio, and enjoy a complimentary sample of this extraordinary release. Patrimonio is a limited-quantity wine. Bottles will be available for sale to enjoy or to take home while quantities last. |

Riserva Club Holiday Dinner

We invite our Riserva Club Members to celebrate the holiday season with us. Enjoy a decadent holiday dinner featuring Raffaldini Wine Pairings that our Riserva Club Members are sure to love!
The evening will begin promptly at 5:45 pm with a holiday concert performed by our talented friends Jersey Roche and Justin Traxler. We will then proceed to dinner at 6:30 pm. Attendees will need to select the primo course and the secondo course. Also, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. Click the menu image to view a larger size.
Be sure to stop in earlier that day. We will also be releasing to wine club members a very, very special wine called Patrimonio. The release will be held at the winery from 1 pm to 3 pm on December 10. An additional RSVP to attend will be required.

We have partnered with Tock to provide a reservation system for tastings and flights at the Villa and on the Piazza. Our continued goal is to provide the best experience for you, our valued customers and friends. While walk-ins are welcome and a reservation is not required, we believe that making a reservation will enhance your visit.
As a general reminder to all our guests, to provide a safe, relaxing, and intimate experience for our guests, all visitors must be at least 21 years of age. Infants and children are no longer permitted at the Tasting Room, except on holidays and specially designated family days when we can appropriately staff and have children friendly activities available.
