Weekends in November - Assemblaggio! Grande Riserva Blending Trials

Our reds are ready for blending, and we need your help to determine our blend for the Raffaldini Grande Riserva! Hosted at the Raffaldini Winery Barrel Room, each session is an educational, two-hour experience lead by Owner and Winemaker Jay Raffaldini. Hone your winemaking knowledge and skill while learning details about grape varietals and growing. Each blend you create will be carefully analyzed, sampled, and help inspire our new vintage of Grande Riserva.

Sunday, October 22 - Take a Hike! With Jay Raffaldini | $50

Join Owner and Winemaker Jay Raffaldini and long time NC resident and outdoorsman Steve Nelson, as they show you the way through the Raffaldini woods and vineyards. Wear sensible walking shoes and prepare yourself for a moderate 90 minute hike followed by a hearty luncheon which of course includes wine! During the hike, Jay will share details of the vineyard and Steve will share his love of the woods. Tickets are $50 per person and include a guided hike, lunch and two glasses of wine.

Saturday, October 28 - Sagra Delle Salsicce | Sausage Grilling Luncheon at the Winery | $40

Enjoy a traditional Italian-style afternoon of food and wine as we grill salsicce (sausages), drink wine at the winery. This event is hosted by Owner and Winemaker Jay Raffaldini and is sure to be a relaxed and enjoyable Saturday afternoon. Ticket price is $40 plus tax per person and includes admission to event, grilled sausage lunch and assorted sides, and two glasses of Raffaldini wines.

Hit the Swan Creek Wine Trail and taste our signature red wines in the elegance of Riedel stemware. Receive a collector's-edition, Swan Creek Wine Trail Riedel wine glass at your first stop and one gourmet food and wine pairing at each of the seven vineyards along the wine trail.

*One ticket per person. Tickets are available at any of the seven vineyards on the Swan Creek Wine Trail. If you purchase your tickets and Riedel wine glass from Raffaldini Vineyards, Raffaldini Vineyards will be your first stop on the tour, and you can pick up your tickets when you arrive. After that you may choose your destination.

You are invited to join Owner and Winemaker Jay Raffaldini and Assistant Winemaker Katy Kidd as they release our 2015 Grande Riserva. Each session consists of a blind tasting of the 2015 Grande Riserva and two other highly-acclaimed wines. Taste for yourself how Raffaldini wines compare to the top-rated wines in the world!

Raffaldini Vineyards Supports Forsyth Humane Society at Farm-to-Tasting Celebration in Winston-Salem

On Friday evening, join Barbara Raffaldini and representatives from other vineyards in the Yadkin Valley as she will be at Carolina's Vineyards & Hops at 1111 South Marshall St. in Winston-Salem for a Farm-to-Tasting event benefitting the Forsyth Humane Society. Enjoy Tapas and live jazz courtesy of hosts Carolina's Vineyards and Hops.

NC Fine Wines Society Dinner @ The Umstead Hotel and Spa Four Course Meal with Eight NC Fine Wines

Join Owner and Winemaker Jay Raffaldini at the Umstead Hotel & Spa on Thursday, November 9th. The NC Fine Wines dinner will feature the wines of the eight vineyards representing the 2017 NC Fine Wines Case. Representatives from each of the vineyards will be there to talk about their wines and share in the meal with you. This very exclusive event has room for only 50 guests. The four course meal will highlight the very best of North Carolina Fine Wines.
