Raffaldini Wine Receives Rare Award
The soon to be released, Raffaldini 2021 Sagrantino received a coveted score of 94 points thus earning a rare Platinum Award (every judge gives the wine a Gold Medal) at the Prestigious Critics Challenge International Wine Competition held in San Diego. Platinum awards are reserved for the very best wines of the competition, wines that exhibit profound qualities as determined by the judges. Owner, Jay Raffaldini believes that the 21' Sagrantino is the best we have made and will serve as our benchmark for quite some time. Jay stated “this wine is what I hoped we could make when we first planted the grape over fifteen years ago. Our Sagrantino can go head to head with the greatest Sagrantino wines from Umbria and as the vines get older it will only get more exciting”. The Raffaldini 21 Sagrantino will be released on Saturday August 5th.

The epicenter of Italian culture in the Piedmont is here on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 as food vendors, musicians, artists, and craftsmen from across the region descend on Chianti in the Carolinas for this annual celebration of Italian culture, food, art, music, and of course, wine. Wine Club Pickup Party
Saturday, August 5 & Sunday August 6 | 12PM-4PM- Join us at the winery for our Fall Wine Club Pick Up celebration! You will taste all three new wines andon both Saturday, and Sunday at 1pm and 3pm, owner Jay Raffaldini and winemaker, Chris Nelson will speak about each wine and all matters Raffaldini. Barbara Raffaldini will also join them to go over the recipes paired with each wine. Further we will have drawings for fun prizes too at 1:30pm and at 3:30 pm each day. Entry into the drawings is free, each member may enter once, and you must be a wine club member and present to win. Please RSVP no later than July 27th and les us know which day you will be visiting us and the number in your party. Wine Club members may bring one guest at no cost, but if you want to bring additional guests to the pick-up party, the member will be charged $15.00 per person.

Raffaldini Wines Now Available Across NC
 After nearly two decades of having Raffaldini wines available exclusively at the Villa we have found a wholesale distribution firm that targets wine shops and restaurants rather than mass supermarket, etc. We sought to build connections with independent retailers and restaurateurs so we can still tell our story to the sales outlet and build on the connection that we have with all of you. To begin, we agreed to have two value-based wines (Bella Misto and Bianco) as well as higher end (Vermentino Superiore and Montepulciano Riserva) available for sale.
To locate a store near you, simply go to raffaldini.com then hover your mouse over shop on the header. When the drop down menu appears, click "Find Raffaldini Wines" at the bottom of the list. Once on the Raffaldini Store Locator, you can use the drop down to search by type or location or type in your zip code and search a radius for outlets near you. If you don’t see your favorite wine shop listed please email me directly at jay@raffaldini.com and I will work with our wholesale partner to get them in the store near you.

We have partnered with Tock to provide a reservation system for tastings and flights at the Villa and on the Piazza. Our continued goal is to provide the best experience for you, our valued customers and friends. While walk-ins are welcome and a reservation is not required, we believe that making a reservation will enhance your visit.
As a general reminder to all our guests, to provide a safe, relaxing, and intimate experience for our guests, all visitors must be at least 21 years of age. Infants and children are no longer permitted at the Tasting Room, except on holidays and specially designated family days when we can appropriately staff and have children friendly activities available.
