Our Vineyard Crew has been diligently maintaining the vineyards in anticipation of veraison, the final step in the maturation of this year's vintage. Here you can see a hedger in action as we cut off excess growth from the vines. This allows the vines to put more effort into ripening the fruit by not having to maintain all that excess growth. Following hedging, our crew comes through each row and pulls leaves from around the fruit zone by hand, opening up the fruit to more sunlight and cooling breezes, keeping the fruit clean and dry and helping to concentrate and develop sugars and flavors. Keep an eye on the fruit this month as we quickly approach harvest time and the grapes begin turning ripe, purple hues.

Join us for an afternoon of wine and food as Executive Chef Corey Hooks demonstrates a signature Italian recipe. Learn some helpful tips from Chef Corey and watch him prepare timeless Italian cuisine. Ticket price includes the cooking demonstration, food sampling, two glasses of wine and a recipe card.
Join us at Villa Raffaldini as we release the Fall Wine Club Package featuring the next to release from the fabled 2017 vintage, Montepulciano Riserva and Il Falco. Plus a delicious new rosé and the 2018 vintage of our extremely popular Auguri traditional-method sparkling. Join owner Jay Raffaldini on site Saturday, August 3rd as he takes you on a personal journey through the new wines.
The new wines will be available for tasting and purchase all weekend. Stop by and enjoy a sample of the new wines with a food pairing. Chef Corey Hooks will have a special food pairing available for wine club members while 225 Street Food will be on site serving up delicious fusion cuisine for sale to pair with your favorite wine.

The Four Seasons Wine Tasting Dinners are held Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and are hosted by Owner Jay Raffaldini. Each dinner features four seasonal food courses and four specially chosen wines to complement the food. Culinary and wine descriptions will be given during the evening to enhance your enjoyment.
