Benvenuti Primavera: Welcome Spring

We hope that everyone is healthy and safe at home. You all are in our thoughts during this difficult time. Despite all that is going on in the world, the vineyard is awakening from winter. Bud break is occurring throughout the vineyard, and the signs of spring are beginning to appear around the property.

Our vineyard crew is hard at work laying out the new vineyard and digging holes to prepare for spring planting (and a new varietal--stay tuned!) that will fulfill our need for more vines in the coming years. In the winery, we received four new bottis to expand our production capability and align our winemaking and stylistic goals.

Join Winemaker Chris Nelson as he guides you on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Raffaldini Winery. Learn in-depth how we craft our award-winning wines and go step-by-step through the winemaking process with our team all while enjoying a glass of current vintage wine and samples of wines in the making.

RARA Sisboombah Release
Sunday, May 3 | 12:00pm - 2pm at Raffaldini Vineyards
This event was rescheduled from April 11.

Join Owners Jay Raffaldini and JW Ray as they unveil the fourth vintage of RARA, their collaborative wine blend. Enjoy a meet and greet with Raffaldini and Ray with signed bottles available for purchase. The event kicks off at Raffaldini Vineyards at 12pm and resumes at JOLO Vineyards at 2pm. Admission is free, but please RSVP. Owners JW Ray and Jay Raffaldini will unveil the fourth vintage of RARA, their collaborative red wine blend. Signed bottles will be available for purchase. Complimentary passed appetizers will be served.

This is a special, limited edition wine that is expected to sell out quickly. Order now online or phone ahead and pickup in person.

2018 Grande Riserva Release

Jay Raffaldini invites all our wine club members to join him for a unique, behind-the-scenes tasting and discussion on our brand new Grande Riserva in the winery. Enjoy a glass of the 2018 Grande Riserva while Jay describes the dedicated labor of love that our winemaking team goes through to create this special wine. We'll pair the Grande with light refreshments and lively atmosphere as we lead into the Grande Vertical Tasting later in the evening (see below).

Grande Riserva is a wine that represents the pinnacle of Raffaldini Vineyards. Join owner Jay Raffaldini for a rare opportunity to taste every Grande Riserva vintage ever made in an elegant evening setting at Villa Raffaldini. Guests will enjoy a vertical tasting of every vintage of Grande Riserva including the newly-released 2018 vintage. Heavy Hors D'oeuvres will be served throughout the event. Four Seasons Wine Tasting Dinner: Spring

The Four Seasons Wine Tasting Dinners are held Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and are hosted by Owner Jay Raffaldini. Each dinner features four seasonal food courses and four specially chosen wines which complement each course. Culinary and wine descriptions will be given during the evening to enhance your enjoyment. This is an opportunity to share your food and wine passion with like-minded friends. The atmosphere will be relaxed and casual with a focus on meeting new friends and enjoying la dolce vita.

Take a Hike! With Jay Raffaldini

This event was rescheduled from April 19.

Join Jay Raffaldini on a moderate hike around the Raffaldini property! Wear sensible walking shoes and prepare yourself for a delightful morning out. Hike will be followed by a hearty luncheon of soup, crusty breads and wine! $50 plus tax per person includes the hike, lunch and two glasses of wine.
