Italian Kitchen: Cooking Demonstration

Join us for an afternoon of wine and food as Executive Chef Corey Hooks, demonstrates two signature Italian recipes. Learn some helpful tips from Chef Corey and watch him prepare two courses. Price includes the cooking demonstration, food sampling, 2 glasses of wine and recipe cards. Wine Club Admission is $50 plus tax per person.

Taste and compare our 90-point Montepulciano Riserva alongside three other world renowned Montepulcianos. Explore the wonderful character of this unique varietal with Owner Jay Raffaldini. 

2017 Grande Riserva
Now Available

Grande Riserva, as the name implies, represents the utmost and very best efforts of all that we do from the vineyard to the winery. In making this limited quantity wine, we used the finest and oldest Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, and Sagrantino grapes, harvested at optimal ripeness and then triple sorted. We applied the Appassimento drying process to further concentrate the grapes’ natural flavors and aromas. Finally, we placed the grapes in oak fermenters to further deepen the profile and aged the wine in the best oak barrels available.

Meet the Team:
Emily White, Office Manager

Emily White is the Office Manager at Raffaldini Vineyards. She is a native of Elkin, NC and while she spent many years living in other areas, Emily eventually came back to settle in the foothills. She received her B.S. in Community Justice Studies from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. She was drawn to the college because of her shared belief in their core values of community, diversity, equality, excellence, integrity, justice and stewardship. Emily’s professional experience comes from working for both large and small corporations and ranges from proficiencies in critical software applications to human resource management. Emily lives with her husband Clent and their two sons on a family farm in Dobson which raises a variety of agricultural products.
