The Yadkin Valley Wine Auction & Gala benefits the Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation promoting and advancing the well-being of our community by providing quality health care and health-related services. Sagra Delle Salsicce: Italian Sausage Lunch at the Winery
Saturday, May 4 | 1pm-3pm $50 Plus Tax Per Person
Enjoy a traditional Italian-style afternoon of food and wine as we grill salsicce (sausages), drink wine at the winery. This event is hosted by Owner Jay Raffaldini and is sure to be a relaxed and enjoyable Saturday afternoon. Ticket price is $50 plus tax per person and includes grilled traditional Italian sausage lunch with grilled peppers and onions and assorted sides such as Italian pasta salad, Italian potato salad, green salad, tiramisu, and Raffaldini wines.
Salon Tasting: Sangiovese Classico

Enjoy this opportunity to join owner Jay Raffaldini in an exclusive salon wine tasting. Held in the barrel room of the winery, guests will enjoy a blind tasting of four Sangiovese wines, one from Raffaldini Vineyards and three others from highly rated vineyards throughout the world. This intimate, wine-focused event is limited to 48 guests. Gourmet antipasti will be provided by Bottles & Boards.

Join owner Jay Raffaldini as he presents our 2017 Grande Riserva! Grande Riserva, as the name implies, represents the utmost and very best efforts of all that we do from the vineyard to the winery. In making this limited quantity wine, we used the finest and oldest Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, and Sagrantino grapes, harvested at optimal ripeness and then triple sorted.
We applied the Appassimento drying process to further concentrate the grapes’ natural flavors and aromas. Finally, we placed the grapes in oak fermenters to further deepen the profile and aged the wine in the best oak barrels available.
Event ticket includes a glass of 2017 Grande Riserva and light Hors D'oeuvres from Bottles & Boards.
Celebrate the official start to Summer with a day of fun and relaxation among the vines. Enjoy fresh, Authentic Mexican street fare from Taco Mobile food truck. Veterans, active military and first responders stop in for a free gift.
Brandy Watson is the Assistant Tasting Room Manager at Raffaldini Vineyards. Brandy joined the Raffaldini team in 2017. Prior to this, she spent most of her professional career in administration. Currently, she is pursuing her masters degree in business administration at Strayer University. When she isn’t busy achieving her professional and educational goals, you can find her at the gym, hiking, and spending the weekends with her son. He keeps her busy being playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. On Sundays, they both enjoy reading a book together, reminiscing about the week's adventures and gearing up for the week ahead.
