Thanks to everyone who attended our release weekend! We have four wonderful new wines available as a part of the Fall Wine Club Package. Read more about them and place your order below, or stop by Villa Raffaldini to experience them for yourself!
Package Contents
The Fall Wine club package contains six bottles of four new wine releases including one completely new expression of Vermentino called Desaria. Your wine club package will contain the following wines:
- 1 Bottle 2019 Auguri (Traditional Method Sparkling Wine, crisp, dry and refreshing)
- 1 Bottle 2019 Desaria (First of its kind, full-bodied Vermentino utilizing Appassimento, extended skin contact and oak fermentation)
- 2 Bottles 2018 Montepulciano Riserva (Our signature varietal, hearty, fruit forward red)
- 2 Bottles 2018 Il Falco (Robust, savory red wine made from Sagrantino. Epic Tannins)

The package also contains a letter from Jay and recipes to pair with each wine from Barbara. If you cannot join us for the wine club release, you will have the opportunity to hear from Jay Raffaldini on these new wines via Zoom (more info below) in the weeks following the release. |

Jay Raffaldini Hosts Wine Club Zoom Tastings Beginning This Week
Jay Raffaldini will host a series of live, virtual tastings exclusively for wine club members on Zoom after of the August 15 release date. Jay will taste and describe the new wines and offer a Q & A Session. The schedule for tastings are:

Salon Tasting - Vermentino Superiore

Enjoy this opportunity to join owner Jay Raffaldini in an exclusive salon wine tasting. Held in the barrel room of the winery, guests will enjoy a blind tasting of four wines, one from Raffaldini Vineyards and three from other highly rated vineyards throughout the world paired with antipasti to complement each wine. Virtual Yoga in the Vineyards with Maureen
Mondays & Wednesdays | 9am via Zoom
A 60-minute yoga class designed for all students who have a desire to enhance their well-being through movement, breath awareness and self-inquiry. Set-up your mat and get ready to change the world, one breath at a time!
Cost: $10.00 per class
NOTE: After purchase, you will receive a link to join the class via Zoom. Please note, you must make the purchase at least 30-minutes before the class begins.
Maureen Stitt is a certified Kripalu yoga instructor who was introduced to Hatha Yoga in 1995 and has been sharing her love of yoga through teaching for over 20 years. She has owned her own yoga studio, taught at many different yoga studios, and teaches private clients. Maureen’s classes are known for their great variety and playfulness and she likes to emphasize a moving away from the known into the unknown.

This event is a celebration of Italian culture, food, art, music and of course, wine. Tickets include parking, admission to the festival, commemorative Festa Italiana wine glass and glass of wine. We are making necessary adjustments to comply with NC Health Department recommendations. Stay tuned next week for more details on the exciting changes to 2020 Festa.
Fall Wine Tasting Dinner

This four course wine dinner celebrates the bounty of the fall harvest. Owner Jay Raffaldini is your host who will entertain you with humor, anecdotes and descriptions of the wines served. Share your food and wine passion with like-minded friends.
Take a Hike! with Jay Raffaldini
Sunday, October 4 | 10:30am - 1pm
General Admission $50 | Wine Club $45
Wear sensible walking shoes and prepare yourself for a moderate 90 minute hike followed by a hearty luncheon which of course includes wine! During the hike, Jay will share details of the vineyard and his friend and avid outdoorsman Steve will share his love of the woods.
