This Greenway is a natural area between urban communities where wildlife, vegetation, and streams are preserved and enjoyed. Greenways also provide transportation, recreation, and exercise opportunities for the community. The Yadkin River Greenway's mission is to enhance the quality of life by ensuring the creation of a riverside greenway that connects the major institutions and neighborhoods of our community. The Greenway is hosting a charity golf tournament at Oakwoods Country Club, Thursday, June 28.

Raffaldini Vineyards Sponsors AARF Party 4 Paws Carnival
AARF aids homeless and helpless cats and dogs in the greater Winston-Salem area; providing rescue and adoption services, information, and education while encouraging the human/animal bond. AARF is governed by a volunteer board of directors, who are supported by dozens of volunteers who work endlessly to implement the mission of the Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation. AARF is hosting a Party 4 Paws Carnival Saturday, June 9th featuring Raffaldini wine, live music, food, and much more.

Meet our Vineyard Manager, Jason
My name is Jason Krug, and I am the Vineyard Manager at Raffaldini. I am very excited to be working the vines on these rolling green hills. I grew up in a small mining town called Clarkdale just outside the majestic town of Sedona, Arizona. I have always been drawn to working outside and playing in nature so the life of a farmer has naturally suited me. Before I found myself planted in North Carolina I was managing a 20 acre vineyard called Page Springs Cellars. Arizona, much like North Carolina, is building itself to be an up coming wine region. When I am not caring for the vines you can find me out in the forest hiking, climbing and camping.
