Join us at the winery for our Spring Wine Club Pick Up celebration! Owner Jay Raffaldini will be on site to lead lively discussions at 1pm and 3pm. Jay will be joined by our talented winemaker Chris Nelson. Barbara Raffaldini will also be onsite with a special tasting of our new olive oils.

There will also be drawings for fun prizes at 1pm and 3pm each day. Entry into the drawings is free, each member may enter once, and you must be a wine club member and present to win.

Please RSVP no later than February 24th and let us know which day you will visiting us. Wine club members are permitted one guest complimentary, additional guests for the event are $15.00 per person.

7th Annual NC Fine Wine Gala Tickets Available

The NC Fine Wines Competition is the toughest state-specific competition in the country, and you can be side by side with the owners and winemakers from across the state when the coveted NC Fine Wines Case awards are announced! This is your chance to attend the awards ceremony and enjoy an exquisite dinner paired with NC Fine Wines. There is a limited allocation of seating open to the public. This event will be held on April 15th, 2023 from 7:00pm-10:00pm at the Millennium Center, 101 West 5th Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.

Raffaldini Vineyards & The Weekend Charcuterie Catering are teaming up to bring you a charcuterie class! We invite you to join us here at Raffaldini Vineyards on March 11th, 2023. During the class you will be able to build your own charcuterie box to take home, while enjoying Raffaldini wine throughout the event. Learn tips and tricks on portioning and pairing complementary textures and flavors. Pairings will include a variety of meats, cheeses and other charcuterie items. You will also learn techniques to make an aesthetically pleasing box as well as the importance of seasonal ingredients. This class will be $65 for Wine Club members and $70 for GA, and includes two glasses of wine. You can purchase tickets by following the link below.

Raffaldini is proud to announce a new partnership with Tamia!

Delicato : This extra virgin olive oil has a medium intense fruity nose of green grass, with sensation of lettuce and unripe sweet almond. The taste has a persistent light aromatic bitterness of grass, flowers and sweet almond. It ends with a light, brief spiciness that leaves room to a velvety bitterness.

Robusto: This extra virgin olive oil has an intense green fruity nose of a fresh tomato leaf. The bitterness of tomato berry and slightly intense arugula stands out in the taste, with a short persistence that fades to grassy notes, then leaving room to a very pleasant spiciness of chili pepper.

After nearly two decades of having Raffaldini wines available exclusively at the Villa we have found a wholesale distribution firm that targets wine shops and restaurants rather than mass supermarket, etc. We sought to build connections with independent retailers and restaurateurs so we can still tell our story to the sales outlet and build on the connection that we have with all of you. To begin, we agreed to have two value-based wines (Bella Misto and Bianco) as well as higher end (Vermentino Superiore and Montepulciano Riserva) available for sale.

To locate a store near you, simply go to raffaldini.com then hover your mouse over shop on the header. When the drop down menu appears, click "Find Raffaldini Wines" at the bottom of the list. Once on the Raffaldini Store Locator, you can use the drop down to search by type or location or type in your zip code and search a radius for outlets near you. Each dinner features four seasonal food courses and four specially chosen wines to complement the food. Culinary and wine descriptions will be given during the evening to enhance your enjoyment. This is an opportunity to share your food and wine passion with like-minded friends. The atmosphere will be relaxed and casual with a focus on meeting new friends and enjoying la dolce vita. Cost is $110.00 + tax per person or $150.00 + tax per person that includes shuttle service to and from either the Fairfield Inn in Elkin, NC or the Hampton Inn in Jonesville, NC. An opaque, brooding, and intense red wine made from Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, and Sagrantino grapes, aged in 100% new French Oak evokes a luxurious symphony of flavor, leaning in with dark fruits, spice, and earth.

The salon tasting event will consist of a Blind Tasting of the Patrimonio against four other highly ranked and well known wines along with heavy Hors D'oeuvres. See for yourself how Raffaldini Wine compares to some of the top rated wines in the world. To celebrate this event our sparkling wine Auguri will be served as everyone assembles. Raffaldini Wines Score 90+ In American Wine Society Competition

We have a few more ornaments to add to our Christmas tree this year! Seven Raffaldini wines scored 90+ at the annual American Wine Society (AWS) 2022 Commercial Competition, conducted in Bellevue, WA on October 25^th and 26th. The American Wine Society competition for commercial wine has been held annually since the 1986 National Conference. Judges are selected from a broad spectrum of wine industry professionals, including marketers, writers and wine makers. A significant number of judges for each competition are also chosen from among graduates of the AWS’s own rigorous and well regarded Wine Judge Certification Program. All wines are judged blind and by panel consensus.

Afternoon of Holiday Cheer

The Holidays are in full swing, and we invite you to help us prepare for the holidays! The entire family will enjoy holiday shopping and live tunes while you craft your own holiday decorations, and enjoy complimentary cookies and apple cider while the little ones write letters to Santa.

Local musician RG Absher will entertain you with holiday tunes on a wide variety of instruments including Hammered Dulcimer, Violin, acoustic guitar, classic guitar, and banjo! RG is a Wilkes County native and a regular at MerleFest. His music includes a rich folk tradition and haunting Celtic sounds from Ireland and Scotland.

Jay Raffaldini invites you to the beautiful botti barrel room at the winery for the release of the inaugural release of our Patrimonio. This wine is an icon of Raffaldini Vineyards; a representation of more than twenty years of pioneering winemaking. An opaque, brooding, and intense red wine made from Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, and Sagrantino grapes, aged in 100% new French Oak evokes a luxurious symphony of flavor, leaning in with dark fruits, spice, and earth.

We invite you to stop by on Saturday, December 10, chat with Jay about how we made the Patrimonio, and enjoy a complimentary sample of this extraordinary release. Patrimonio is a limited-quantity wine. Bottles will be available for sale to enjoy or to take home while quantities last.

We invite our Riserva Club Members to celebrate the holiday season with us. Enjoy a decadent holiday dinner featuring Raffaldini Wine Pairings that our Riserva Club Members are sure to love!

The evening will begin promptly at 5:45 pm with a holiday concert performed by our talented friends Jersey Roche and Justin Traxler. We will then proceed to dinner at 6:30 pm. Attendees will need to select the primo course and the secondo course. Also, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. Click the menu image to view a larger size.

Be sure to stop in earlier that day. We will also be releasing to wine club members a very, very special wine called Patrimonio. The release will be held at the winery from 1 pm to 3 pm on December 10. An additional RSVP to attend will be required.

Grande Riserva Blending Trials

Weekends in November | 1pm - 3pm

Space is limited!

We are excited to unveil the first taste of our 2021 red wines! After careful aging, these rich, dark reds are ready for blending and we need you to help us determine the blend for the Raffaldini Grande Riserva, our most powerful red wine!

Assemblaggio is a two-hour educational wine experience led by Owner Jay Raffaldini and winemaker Chris Nelson in our winery barrel room. Each blend you create will be carefully analyzed, sampled and help inspire our new vintage of Grande Riserva.

This is an opportunity to hone your winemaking knowledge and ability, learn more about grape varietals, and make a few new friends in the process. Blending trials will be held in the barrel room allowing you to experience the winery during the winemaking season.

Harvest Update

While it was up and down for most of the year the weather turned absolutely perfect the last three weeks allowing harvest to end right before the Hurricane arrived. We harvested a record amount of fruit and also dried the most with both Fruttaio rooms working overtime. Wines are truly exceptional in depth, color and structure and we look forward to sharing them with you in the years to come.

Four Season Fall Wine Dinner

The Four Seasons Wine Tasting Dinners are held Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter and are hosted by Owner Jay Raffaldini. Each dinner features four seasonal food courses and four specially chosen wines to complement the food. Culinary and wine descriptions will be given during the evening to enhance your enjoyment. This is an opportunity to share your food and wine passion with like-minded friends. The atmosphere will be relaxed and casual with a focus on meeting new friends and enjoying la dolce vita. Cost is $99.00 + tax per person and is all-inclusive. Or $130.00 + tax per person that is all-inclusive and includes shuttle service from either the Fairfield Inn in Elkin or the Hampton Inn in Jonesville.

What is Festa Italiana?

A grand celebration of all things Italian! The epicenter of Italian culture in the Piedmont is here on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19 as food vendors, musicians, artists and craftsmen from across the region descend on Chianti in the Carolinas for this annual celebration of Italian culture, food, art, music, and of course, wine. Tickets are $20 per person and include parking, admission to the festival, commemorative Festa Italiana wine glass and a glass of Raffaldini wine. Pre-sale will be available until Thursday, September 15 at 5pm. Day of tickets will be $25 and are available at the gate.
